What with the little one coming, it is no surprise that the Unicorns and Vanilla HQ is buzzing with baby fever. 

And with what better way to celebrate than with a Unicorn Finding of the cutest and most heartwarming blog that's sure to put a smile on the grumpiest dwarf! (Also, we're easing the way for our sister company, Unicorns and Vanilla Photography to join the blog, so be sure to pay them a visit on FB!)

The talented mother of Lamb and Fox of lamblovesfox is a photographer from Australia, she documents the daily dealings of her little ones in a photo diary of sorts, including (oh my!) a page on the sweet captures by her daughter Lamb.

Have you heard of On To Baby? 

If you haven't, and are expecting a little one soon, just like we are, you really should.

It's packed with creative DIY-able ideas from how-to-design-nurseries, unique baby shower themes (our personal favourite when it comes to inspiration!), children's parties as well as maternity photoshoots that will leave you feeling calm, elated and drugged (in the best way!).

Summer Breeze Birthday Cupcakes

Yes, it's hot. 

But we like to look at the bright side of things. Like Summer-y colours and flowers and fresh homemade lemonade.

Oh, and not to mention, these pretty little cupcakes we made for Along's birthday. 

Now, that, is hot. Even if we do say so ourselves.

Fashionista

It was an eventful couple of weeks when we found out we were expecting for the first time (yay!), which did not come without its fair share of every morning sickness symptom ever recorded. We therefore apologise for the lack of updates.

But we're bouncing back again, and here, we present you, a collection of fashionista-themed cupcakes, for a special friend of a special client of ours.

It was so much fun to do and we were really glad to hear how much the girls enjoyed their celebration.

There were so many tiny details put into and onto each element, and the set of cupcakes came with a display of make-up, perfume bottles, handbags, and framed-photos of the birthday girl, all made of fondant and wafer.

Black, White and Gold Rocky Road

One of our closest friends was getting married and we couldn't pass up the chance to create these beauties for her hantaran gifts for her husband. The wedding theme was black, white and gold (oh-so-classically romantic!) and we got to working on these black velvet cake and cupcake set. The main cake was covered with a rocky road marshmallow fondant, with a glistening gemstone crystal effect, topped with a handmade black and white peony with just a tint of gold on the tips of the petals.
